A List of 227 Nations

worldmap2

The number of countries in the world is different depending on your source. The United Nations lists 193. The Traveler’s Century Club lists 321. Some places are recognized as sovereign states by certain entities while others are not. I’m using the list on the world prayer map provided by EHC.org.

Those nations in bold type and with a parenthetical note beside them indicate countries where I have made a contribution. Click the links to read more about the specific contributions. To learn more about how I determine which countries to contribute to each time, read Following the Breadcrumbs.
